摘要：

In contrast with the way by which idealism explains things from upper levels,methodologically,materialism adopts the approach in which it explains the motion and change of things from lower levels,but only by basing itself upon historical science can this theoretical approach reaches the highest degree of thoroughness.Opposition of materialism to idealism,in a way,is the opposition of speculative philosophy to science,specially speaking,is the opposition of speculative philosophy of history to Marx's critically historical science.This opposition also means the philosophy only explains world vs.the critically historical science immanently embody theoretical interest in changing world.So,how to get historical materialism to be understood—to be understood as speculative philosophy of history or as the critically historical science—is vital problem having basic signification.Abstract:
