What kinds of words usually pop up in yourmind when the word "fantasy fiction" ismentioned? For most of the people I know,fantasy fictions are always related with children’sbook, a childish plot, and plenty of hack andslash. After reading some fantasy fictions I feltthese books are entertaining, but there wouldnever be a true masterpiece in this genre, they’replainly for leisure reading. Soon a book mademe think again. I was introduced to a fantasyfiction known to be one of the greatest pieces ofEnglish literature in the 20th century, a book thathas been sold over 100 million copies worldwide,a story being praised by both critics and readers-The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
