摘要：

Linguistics is a compulsory course for senior English majors in college.Though it is receiving much attention recent years,it has brought some difficulties to our teaching due to its complicated theories and dullness.Consequently,the students often feel bored and passive in class.Therefore this paper makes an analysis of the current problems and exemplifies the application of the strategies to carry out affective teaching.
