为持续跟踪国外图书馆学研究的前沿和热点,为我国图书馆学研究和图书馆事业发展提供参考借鉴,选取国外图书馆学6种主要期刊:Journal of Documentation、The Library Quarterly、IFLA Journal、Library Trends、Library Management和The Journal of Academic Librarianship,详细分析其在2013年刊登的研究性质的论文,发现信息行为、信息检索、信息素养、图书馆管理、信息服务等是近年来稳定的研究主题,多元化服务、社群信息学、研究数据服务、社交网络和游戏服务等是2013年的研究热点。
