企业创新中探索与利用活动的分离-集成机制——领先企业双元能力构建研究

摘要
企业创新中探索与利用双元能力的构建强调在两种活动之间建立积极的互动关系,本文以悖论管理的分离-集成机制为研究核心,以美国思科公司为案例分析对象,发现案例企业首先使用分离机制,充分利用企业内部和外部资源,保证探索和利用活动互不干扰;然后使用集成机制在探索和利用活动之间建立积极的互动关系。在集成机制中,组合能力和互补性资产发挥了关键作用。组合能力降低了技术创新中探索活动的不确定性和风险,互补性资产与利用活动的连接提高了企业管控内外部资源、拓展复制成功商业模式的能力,而互补性资产与探索活动的连接加速了探索活动的商业化进程同时降低了探索活动的风险。
