Introduction Tinea capitis is defined as an infection of hair follicles on scalp and surrounding skin, and commonly caused by dermatophyte fungi[1]. Tinea capitis remains a significant global public health concern in urban areas,and usually infects children aged from 3 to 7 years,but rarely affect adults and infants[2].
