对社交机器人领域拟人化现象的三种回应——走向批判性、关系性与解释学方法

摘要
社交机器人的设计者与用户都倾向于将机器人拟人化。本文以人类与机器人的关系为着眼点,考察该如何对这一关系进行概念化。目前围绕这一问题存在“天真的工具主义”与“不加批判的后人类主义”两种相反的哲学观点,它们与对拟人化现象和拟人化设计的各种规范性反应相关。基于对上述两项观点的考察,本文提出了第三种观点,即从批判性、关系性以及解释学方法出发理解人类与机器人间的关系。这一观点通过厘清机器人在使用与开发中所蕴含的人类维度,并将机器人严肃地看作更大范围的技术语境内的工具,同时规避了以上两项立场,并对它们所假设的二元论提出质疑。最后,本文探讨了第三种观点对社交机器人领域及计算机科学家和工程师的教育所产生的意义,提倡基于关系性理解对上述领域进行改革,并为用户—公民在其中可以扮演的角色提供建议。
