抑郁倾向对中国中老年群体劳动参与的影响——基于CHARLS面板数据的实证分析

摘要：

本文基于2011年和2013年中国健康与养老追踪调查(CHARLS)面板数据,研究了中国45岁以上中老年群体抑郁倾向对劳动参与和劳动时长的影响。面板数据回归发现,抑郁倾向对中老年群体劳动参与和劳动时长有显著的负向影响。为解决抑郁倾向与劳动参与的反向因果关系可能导致的内生性问题,本文进一步利用前一期的抑郁倾向作为当期抑郁的工具变量进行横截面回归,并得到了一致的结论。在分城乡和分性别的异质性回归中,男性的劳动参与受抑郁倾向的负向影响更显著;从劳动时长来看,在农村居住的中老年男性群体受到抑郁倾向负向影响的程度更大。
