摘要：

本文构建了一个理论分析框架,并采用68个国家40年的面板数据研究劳动参与率以及收入不平等对进口需求的影响。结论显示:收入不平等与劳动参与率显著影响一国的进口需求,这是贸易失衡的主要影响因素。收入不平等对不同发展阶段国家的进口需求存在差异化影响,而人口增长率与劳动参与率的不同组合将导致一国具有不同的国际收支倾向。本文检验结果显示,如果这种国家间劳动参与率差异以及国内收入不平等状况在短期内无法改变,那么新兴经济体国家贸易盈余的累积与发达国家贸易赤字并存的失衡贸易结构仍会维持。
