Using a three-layer quasi-geostrophic model including the motion of troposphere and stratosphere, and considering the jet shear of baroclinic basic flow, the different meridional structures of planetary waves and the interaction between wave-wave, we simulate the sudden warming processes and discuss their dynamical mechanism.
