TRANSMISSION MOMENTARY EFFICIENCY BASED ON THE D'ALEMBERT-LAGRANGE EQUATION FOR INVOLUTES GEARS

摘要：
The D’Alembert-Lagrange equation is introduced and used to derive the formulas of mo-mentary efficiency for external gearing of standard involutes spur gears. The gearings with correct andincreased center distance are discussed. The momentary efficiency formula is calculated and analyzedusing software Matlab. The derived formula of momentary efficiency is also compared with the tradi-tional formula.
