According to the evaluation report of The 12th World Oil Conference, the final recoverable reserves of the world natural gas will be 2.628×1014m3, or 2.389×1011t billion tons of final recoverable oil reserves. The world natural gas industry has been developed by leaps and bounds within recent decades. The world natural gas production by 1990 amounted to 2.1397×1012m3.
