美国政治学研究方法发展现状及趋势——新世纪初的新争论、挑战与反思

摘要：

新世纪伊始,以美国学界为代表的政治学研究方法"改革运动",掀起反思20世纪中后期政治学研究方法发展及其对研究内容和学科定位影响的新高潮。政治学研究中定量和定性等不同方法的使用失衡特征、争论焦点、"改革运动"发生缘起及由此引发的政治学内外挑战,是其集中体现。不同研究方法有着各自的发展历程、内在价值和不足之处。美国政治学研究中方法论的盲目崇拜或"方法论误导"带来了研究议题认知错位,进而导致当前政治学知识再生困境、理论创新窘境以及学科影响力下降等问题。反思新世纪美国政治学研究方法的变革历程,对繁荣发展当代中国政治学有益。
