摘要：

As an area of the studies of linguistics and applied linguistics, the study of Chinese as a second language should be undertaken within a general framework of theory which will cover linguistics, cognition, methodology and instrument. Based himself on this understanding the author of this paper outlines a scheme for the study from 2001 to 2005, the period of China’s tenth five year plan.
