摘要：
Dear Editor,Newcastle disease (ND),caused by virulent Newcastle disease virus (NDV),is a highly contagious and economically devastating viral disease of birds (Habib et al.2018).NDV,also termed as avian paramyxovirus type 1 (APMV-1),belongs to the genus Orthoavulavirus in the family Paramyxoviridae according to the International Committee on Taxonomy of Viruses (ICTV)(Amarasinghe et al.2019).
