The IEEE CASS/EDS Chapter of the North Jersey Section has been awarded the IEEE CASS 2024 Regions 1-7 Chapter of the Year Award for its outstanding contributions, including organizing over 30 technical talks, a three-phase seasonal school, and a significant outreach event. The event, held in three phases, focused on emerging technologies in processing-in-memory and processing-in-sensor domains. It brought together students and professionals to explore cross-layer design challenges in these cutting-edge areas, with expert speakers covering topics such as neuromorphic computing, graph neural networks, and AI acceleration.
