摘要
In the German regulations for the training of psychiatrists, specialists in psychosomatic medicine, child and adolescent psychiatrists and other physicians with qualifications in psychotherapy, in addition to an advanced psychotherapy training it is also required to participate in either Balint group work, systemic casework or behavioral therapy-based interactive casework (IFA).The aim is qualification in psychotherapeutic or psychosomatic basic care, i.e., according to the definition of the psychotherapy guidelines, a treatment with limited objective by verbal interventions, with respect to current mental problems or psychological crises or patient management in the course of chronic illnesses. As the therapy in basic care is an essential part of the daily routine, general practitioners, gynecologists and pain therapists must also undergo such a training. In the IFA groups typical routine cases are presented. The group participants discuss the interaction with the patient and ways to cope with the problem with reference to behavioral therapy concepts, such as behavior description, behavior analysis and modification of cognition, emotions, behavior, contingency analysis, self-management, mediator therapy and much more. Many behavioral therapy strategies can be used in the group process, such as counselling techniques, role playing, training in empathy, self-observation and self-modification.
