Simulation of precision machining manufacturing in furniture design visualization process based on environmental thermal modeling: A VR design

The main aim of this study is to develop a VR design method based on environmental thermal modeling to improve the visual quality of furniture design and accurately simulate the thermal behavior of furniture under different environmental conditions. The data of thermal physical properties of furniture materials were collected, and corresponding thermal models were constructed to simulate the thermal behavior of furniture under different ambient temperature, humidity and radiation conditions. Combining environmental thermal modeling technology with VR technology. Through the development of a specific software interface, the simulation results of the thermal model are mapped to the VR environment in real time, so as to achieve high-precision visual simulation of furniture design. Then a series of simulation experiments are designed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. These experiments include thermal behavior simulations of furniture models under different environmental conditions, and observation and evaluation in a VR environment. The results show that the proposed VR design method based on environmental thermal modeling can effectively simulate the performance of furniture in different thermal environments. Through VR technology, designers can intuitively observe changes in the thermal behavior of furniture under different environmental conditions in an immersive environment, such as temperature distribution, thermal stress and thermal deformation, etc. This method can also help designers find potential thermal performance problems at the design stage and optimize accordingly. This method not only improves the visual quality of furniture design, but also can accurately simulate the thermal behavior of furniture under different environmental conditions.
