In order to be able to diagnose pancreatic cancer at a preclinical and thus curable stage, systematic monitoring of high-risk patients is being carried out in more and more countries. Paiella et al. wanted to find out more about the results after starting an Italian registry of families with an increased risk of disease and are now reporting on the first analysis results.
