摘要
This study examines the concept of self-compassion in mental health based on an Islamic perspective as emphasized in the Quran and Hadith. Islam emphasizes compassion for oneself, awareness of the relationship with Allah SWT, and social harmony. Analysis of previous studies has shown that Islamic-based self-compassion reinforces self-kindness, balanced self-acceptance, and inner calm, which contribute to mental well-being. In line with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, this concept supports universal mental health with equal access and equity. Practical implications are discussed to strengthen the understanding and application of Islamic self-compassion in improving the mental well-being of Muslims.
