Determination of the temperature distribution in the lining layers of a shaft furnace with a vertical TSL lance

摘要
A heat flow model was developed for the pilot installation of a TSL shaft furnace. It allowed to det. the temp. distribution on the furnace walls and its bottom at different levels of the furnace, taking into account the type of materials and the thickness of the lining layers. The temp. of individual lining layers as a function of the distance from the external wall of the furnace, examined at various levels, was increasing. The highest temp. of the lining layers occurred at the level of the liquid bath. The lowest temp. were recorded at the level of the furnace vault. High temp. also occurred in the lining layers at the bottom of the furnace.
