摘要
Puccinia species (Pucciniaceae, Pucciniales) are plant pathogens worldwide and are characterized by their host association, morphology, and molecular data. In this study, two new species of Puccinia, collected from grass and Carex scaposa in Yunnan Province, China, were identified based on phylogeny and morphology. They are described as Puccinia kunmingensis and P. caricis-scaposae. Puccinia kunmingensis is characterized by its exceptionally long pedicels and P. caricis-scaposae represents the first Puccinia species inhabiting the host Carex scaposa.
