摘要
This study examines the nutritional initiative of the League of Nations as a proposed solution to interwar agricultural protectionism. Exploring the intersection of nutrition science and economics, the "marriage between agriculture and health" emerges as a strategy to revitalize agricultural trade. This study highlights how nutrition influenced this approach, fostering an international perspective in promoting cooperation and maintaining peace. It argues that nutrition provided crucial tools for this historical context, identifying an expanding consumer market and proposing a way to conceive food to meet health dietary requirements dissociated from local cultures.
