Citizen-centered healthcare - What could citizen-centered healthcare look like in Germany?

Since the health systems of European countries often differ significantly, it is not surprising that citizen participation in these systems is also implemented differently. In English-language publications, one often finds the term "citizen-centered care" or "person-centered care", which expresses that citizens actively participate in the management of their own health. In Germany, we do not yet have a comparable term. Nor is there a definition for this type of care.
