摘要
This study aimed to examine the bio-psychosocial experiences of patients living in T & uuml;rkiye receiving hemodialysis treatment and to examine their spiritual coping strategies. A descriptive phenomenological research methodology was used in this study. This study was conducted with 23 hemodialysis patients, and interviews were conducted individually and face to face. The data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method. The data analysis revealed four categories and thirteen main themes. It was concluded that the prolonged hemodialysis process negatively affected patients with chronic kidney disease bio-psychosocially, yet some patients used spiritual coping strategies to cope with the disease effectively. Spirituality is believed to be influential in dealing with the disease.
