摘要
Introduction: The aim of our study is to investigate the possible relationship between meteorological values, time intervals, seasonality and the development of Stanford type A aortic dissection. Methods: We collected meteorological data of the residential area of patients treated for aortic dissection between January 2006 and April 2021. For each patient, the average values of meteorological data on the day of the incident and the previous day were determined and the differences between these values were analyzed. We also compared circadian pattern. Results: Although the peak time was between 12 and 18 h, and the peak season was the autumn, there was no statistically significant difference. When comparing the meteorological values, it was found that air pressure and air temperature decreased statistically significantly. Discussion: A significant decrease in air temperature and barometric pressure in the patient's settlement compared to the previous day may be associated with the development of acute type A aortic dissection.
