摘要
The first lifetime editions and Russian translations of the works of Immanuel Kant became the object of study at the Center of Social and Political History, a branch of the State Public Historical Library of Russia. The article sequentially, in chronological order, examines the first editions of I. Kant's works from the library's book collections, all traces of the existence of books left by former owners and readers, as well as the first translations of these works into Russian. I. Kant's books came to the library in the 1920s from various sources, but a significant part of them was received from the Leningrad State Publishing House. Kant's works were in the personal libraries of V. Kuzmin, Counts Chreptowicz, Vera Zasulich, prominent Moscow lawyers. Translations were carried out by famous Russian philosophers N. Lossky, Vl. Solovyov and others. In the German edition of I. Kant's work << Dispute of Faculties >> (1793) numerous marginalia were discovered, among which it was possible to identify supposedly previously unknown autographs of I. Kant. They include the author's signature, text correction on some pages, recommendations for the reader to whom this copy was intended.
