摘要：
The utilization of prophylactic or adjuvant HIPEC in patients with appendiceal neoplasms and CRC remains an active area of exploration. Given the multitude of challenges in the management of peritoneal metastases, the fundamental principles of understanding disease biology, patient selection for systemic and/or regional interventions, and multidisciplinary management are paramount. The evolving landscape of scientific advancements in the field of oncology will only continue to help better inform treatment algorithms toward improving outcomes in our patients.
