Practical teaching of web development focused on graphic designers

Currently, the teaching of graphic design has turned mostly to digital environments, this brings challenges, one of them is the design and web development, in particular, for web development the main challenge is to obtain knowledge and front-end programming skills, the basic languages that are Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The main problem is for students to understand the logic and scope of these high-level languages, so that they can apply it effectively when coding, this becomes a challenge because the knowledge of the graphic designer is more about aesthetics, creative skills, color, shape, figure, etc. (Dabner, Stewart, y Vickress, 2022), and not about programming logic.
