Feminist Artivism in Design Studies

Aim of this article is to describe an artistic experience performed with the students of school where we teach, Escola D'Art i Superior de Disseny of Valencia (EASDV) to denounce, from education and in public space, violence against women. This action is part of the research that we develop in the PhD program in Art: production and research, of Universitat Politecnica of Valencia. The creation and development of the action has been executed through a methodology of research-action in education based on the arts, which combines artistic processes in the classroom with the move to direct action as a colective artistic body. Among the results we highlight the responsibility and commitment that students acquire when becoming an active and critical subject and conscious of the relevance of their transgressive action.
