Die Fortschritte der Lungenbildgebung von COPD-Patienten fuhrten im CT-Bereich zu praziseren Aufnahmen bei moglichst geringer Strahlendosis. Die MRT hat sich ebenfalls als wichtiges Instrument zur Beurteilung struktureller, v.a. aber funktioneller Storungen im Zusammenhang mit COPD erwiesen. In einer ubersichtsarbeit wurden die Potenziale bei Bildgebungsmethode verglichen.
