摘要:
Only a few test instruments can record children's and adolescents' auditory-verbal learning and memory skills. This paper presents a newly developed procedure called WOMBAT (Wortlisten Merken Behalten Abrufen Test) for German-speaking children 6 to 17. It tests learning and recall skills by having participants memorize, reproduce, and recognize a wordlist of 17 words after a time delay and interference. This makes standardized data for long-term recall and recognition (after one week) available for the first time in this age group. We collected data on 359 children and adolescents from German-speaking Switzerland and then applied quantile regression to develop norm tables with age-specific quantiles.
