HYBRID - Detection of spinal metastases in pheochromocytoma or paraganglioma

摘要：
Pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas produce catecholamines and preferentially metastasize to the spine. A US research team has now compared the following imaging techniques with regard to the detection of spinal metastases: [Ga-68]DOTATATEPET/CT ([Ga-68-DOTA(0),Tyr(3)]-octreotide positron emission tomography computed tomography, [F-18]FDG PET/CT (F-18-fluorodeoxyglucose PET/CT), spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and whole-body CT and MRI.
