摘要
French phenomenology, and especially the philosophy of L & eacute;vinas, is committed to criticize the Hegelian struggle for recognition as a philosophy that seeks to reduce the "Other" to the "Same". Is that criticism valid also for the Honnethian re-actualization of the struggle for recognition ? Our position is that even if Honneth commits to re-actualize intersubjective recognition in a way that highlights the importance of otherness, this gesture turns out to be insufficient, especially in relation to the phenomenological role of the flesh.
