The Ultra-Early Structure Transition of D022 Ni3V During the Precipitation: A Phase-Field Study

摘要
The D0(22) precipitate is an important strengthening phase of materials applying to turbines of the electric generators and aero-engines. This paper presents the study of ultra-early structure transition process of D0(22) Ni3V during its precipitation by building an atomic-scale phase-field model of A1 to D0(22) . Results reveal that the Ni3V undergoes three stages: nucleation, growth and ordering. Two kinds of variants are generated during the precipitation; the in situ cubic to tetragonal ordering transition of D0(22) roots in an initial matrix cell consisting of four face-centered cubic lattice instead of a cell containing two face-centered cubic lattice; planes of mature D0(22) have different ordering degrees and the calculated degree of order suggests that low aging temperature avails long-range order for the aimed superalloy.
