摘要
The article discusses a study of deflagration combustion processes of spherical clouds. Using high-precision numerical modeling, the assumptions and results of calculations of pressure-wave parameters are analyzed according to the Safety Guidelines "Methodology for Assessing the Consequences of Accidental Explosions of Fuel-Air Mixtures." The influence of various processes on the flow parameters is considered, including the expansion of the fuel-air mixture cloud during combustion, the propagation of rarefaction waves after the cloud has burned, and deviations from the acoustic approximation employed in this guideline. It is shown that, overall, the assumptions made in this document to simplify calculations do not reduce the accuracy of the predictions.
