摘要
PurposeThe present study aims to develop a two-dimensional model of Moore-Gibson-Thompson theory of thermoelasticity for a micropolar fiber-reinforced medium subjected to a moving mechanical load.MethodsNormal mode analysis is used to obtain the analytical solutions of the governing equations. The values of physical fields are computed numerically using MATLAB software.ResultsEffects of micropolarity, fiber-reinforcement and velocity of moving load on various field quantities are shown graphically and analyzed accordingly. Some particular cases are also discussed in the context of this problem.ConclusionsThe fiber-reinforcement and micropolarity show considerable effect on all field quantities. Time and velocity of moving load have an increasing effect on considered variables. All thermoelastic interactions are in agreement with the generalized theory of thermoelasticity.
