摘要
The current ecological state of the great cormorant populations within Novosibirsk oblast is assessed. The spatial and temporal dynamics of abundance and distribution and the reasons for the intense expansion of this species are considered. The results of a comprehensive ecological study of the great cormorant in Novosibirsk oblast are presented. The boundaries of modern distribution and territorial changes in its abundance have been established. As a result of the study of the model colony, new information is provided on nutrition, reproduction biology, and biocenotic relationships of this species. A comparative analysis of the dynamics of the range and abundance of the great cormorant in Northern Eurasia and Siberia has been performed.
