The conditions are investigated of extractive concentration of a group of rated heavy metals in mine waters containing milligram concentrations of iron, aluminum and manganese by means of diantipyrylmethane (DAM) in a thiocyanate medium, with spectral analysis of the concentrate. A method is proposed for the spectral chemical determination of Cu, Zn, V, Sn, Mo, Nb, Bi, W, Ga, Co, Cd and Sb in the presence of 0. 2-5. 0 mg/l of iron. Al. Mn, Cr. Ni, alkali and alkali-earth elements do not interfere with the determination. The relative standard deviation is 0. 02-0. 07.
