摘要：
New dimensions for machine tool construction. 3D simulation and Virtual Reality have already gained acceptance at technology-oriented enterprises as effective tools for new product development. The use of 3D computer technologies in connection with a continuous CAD/CAM chain generates enormous output potential in the areas of design, development, commissioning, marketing and training. This article aims at overcoming still existent acceptance problems of 3D-Methods. © 1999 Carl Hanser Verlag. All rights reserved.
