A long-wave limit (about 1750 nm) of the positions of the maximum of the band of the electronic absorption of various materials with a high carbon content has been detected which apparently characterizes a transitional modification of the carbon structure with the maximum dimensions of the regions of delocalization of electrons over a system of conjugation.
