摘要：

A method for computation of the arc parameters when immersing into charge material and the energy distribution in the pool zones is suggested. Electric arc model and the regularities obtained for its behavior in the pool connect kinetics of oxides reduction with the conditions of their provision by energy of transforming electricity into heat of resistance and radiation of the arc. The various approaches to improvement of technological conditions for oxides reduction in the electric units are considered for FS45 ferrosilicon.
