摘要
Experimental study of the content of cavitation nuclei in a liquid by creating tensile stresses in the liquid by generating flow around special cavitators is described. The advantage of the method is that it precludes any variation of the number and sizes of the nuclei at times preceding the onset of cavitation by elimination of the cycle pressure variation inherent in sound fields thereby enhancing the accuracy of the results.
