Spherical Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3 fine powders were prepared by ultrasonic spray pyrolysis. The crystal phase of as-prepared powders was significantly influenced by precursor solution. The crystal phase of as-prepared powders was determined to be pyrochlore and PMN from the XRD patterns. The single phase of PMN was obtained by the calcination at 800°C. PMN powders yielded ceramics with high sinterability and high dielectrical constant.
