摘要
The article discusses a microprocessor-based multiplexed system linked to a minicomputer to control electric power demand in a winery. In addition to delivering an annual return on investment of 55 percent in electric bill savings, the system provides a bonus in the form of alarm and monitoring capability for critical processes. Subjects covered include basic elements of the energy management system, summary reports, programming of energy and demand charge savings, and others.
