摘要
A mathematical model for determining sound power by using the scanning method was developed. Under the assumption of constant scanning speed and steady noise source, the accuracy of estimating sound power along some simple paths on the surfaces (such as rectangle, disc and hemisphere) was analyzed. The results show that the accuracy of estimating sound power is strongly dependent on a suitable selection of scan path; accurate estimation of sound power can be made by scanning along some simple paths.
