摘要
Kaolin is typical material connected with sedimentary rock. Primary kaolins are formed during decomposition of sedimentary rocks. Secondary kaolins are formed during deposition of products of chemical weathering of bedrock. Compositions and properties of kaolins are determined by conditions of their formation. Deposits of primary kaolins are characterized by large thickness. Deposits of secondary kaolins are characterized by high uniformity, however, the deposits are small. High plasticity and viscosity, fine-grained structures of secondary kaolins are noted. It is not necessary to concentrate secondary kaolins. Primary kaolins should be concentrated.
