摘要：
The stress distribution and displacements within a semi-infinite transversely isotropic solid exposed to an axis symmetric stress was determined. When the stress distribution corresponding to an applied radial displacement is calculated; thus one is brought back to the preceding problem. Numerical results are presented in the from of curves and show the influence of anisotropy.
