Determination of the Melting Points of the Systems Formed During the Heating of NH4NO3-Nh4H2PO4 and NH4NO3-NH4H2PO4-KCl Mixtures.

Using the DTA and visual-polythermal methods, a study was made of the melting points of the above-mentioned systems with various mixture component ratios. The dependences of the melting points on the degree of dehydration of the orthophosphate and the KCl content in the initial mixtures are established. It is shown that in NH//4NO//3-NH//4H//2PO//4-KCl systems the range of existence of homogeneous melts at temperatures up to 190 degree C includes compositions in which the KCl content does not exceed 12 to 17%.
