摘要
As sinter is replaced by pellets, both the total and removed yield decrease at first, then begin to increase sharply. Under certain conditions, the iron loss with nonrecovered top dust is substantial. The most important measure to reduce loss is increasing the strength of the sinter and pellets to prevent them from disintegrating during smelting.
